Beaches nobody tests any more
A designated bathing water is a legal status, not a list of where people swim — and a beach can be taken off it. When that happens the testing stops, the beach drops off the official feed, and it disappears from maps like this one while people carry on swimming there. These 14 are still in the Environment Agency’s records, with its own reasons, so they are here too.
